Map Data for Safer ADAS to HAD Solutions

In the future, people won’t necessarily want to own cars, but they’ll need personal mobility. Vehicles are not fully utilizing the benefits of HD maps. HD Maps assist with many aspects related to keeping self-driving cars safe while achieving its functional goal of getting from A to B in a variety of real scenarios.

VSI Labs performed a series of real-world tests by integrating HERE HD Live Map into a variety of ADAS applications. The primary objective of the tests was increasing the safety of ADAS applications by improving the functional performance of the vehicle, leveraging HERE HD Live Map while assuming normal behavior of hardware/sensors in the vehicle.
