Cairo geospatial student hackathon: Change detection in geospatial data

This August, HERE Technologies, the world’s leading location platform, will host a student hackathon in Cairo and universities from across the country are invited to take part in this exciting event.

The Challenge:
Explore the potential of using GenAI for information extraction and conduct a sample analysis based on source data.

Hosted by: HERE Geospatial Community of Practice

Prize: First place will get an internship for up to 10 weeks, second and third places will get amazon vouchers.
Location: MQR, The GrEEk Campus, 171 El Tahrir Street, Cairo.
Date: August 6 - 7, 2025
Time: Day 1 - 09:00-17:00; Day 2 - 09:00 - 19:00 (Breakfast and lunch will be served on premises)
