Cairo geospatial student hackathon: features extraction using GIS data


This February, HERE Technologies–the world’s leading location platform–will host a student hackathon in Cairo and universities from across the country are invited to take part.

Join us to explore the power of machine learning and deep learning in feature extraction. This hackathon will challenge participants to build innovative models and perform sample analyses using GIS data, unlocking new possibilities in spatial intelligence.

Hosted by: HERE geospatial community of practice

Prize: First place will get an internship for up to 10 weeks, second and third places will get Amazon vouchers.
Location: Founders Spaces, 22 El -Shaikh Rihan Street, Cairo.

Time:
Day 1: 10:00am – 5:00pm
Day 2: 10:00am – 6:00pm
Food: Breakfast and lunch will be served on the premises

What you could win
The top team will earn paid internships of up to 10 weeks, a unique chance to work alongside geospatial experts, build real-world experience, and sharpen their skills in the field. Both second place and third place will receive Amazon vouchers, valid for one year.
